Canada C3

In 2017, a Canadian ice-breaker embarked on a historic journey along the entirety of so-called Canada’s three coastlines to experience and document the incredible cultural and natural diversity of the land. The ship set sail from Toronto, ON and successfully arrived, on time, in Victoria, BC 150 days later, traversing the world’s largest coastline. Each 10 day segment of the journey featured a different cross-section of Canada’s population who experienced the journey in their own ways. I was brought on as a media team member for Legs 14 & 15 (the expedition finale), where I helped design and execute a series of videos and live broadcasts. Our videos had four main themes: Diversity and Inclusion, Reconciliation, Youth Engagement and the Environment. A documentary featuring some of my footage was edited and taken on tour across Canada.
